You know those days when life seems amazing. I think today could go into that grouping.
One of my best friends (you may have read about her- Emily) makes up a major portion of my soul. Emily is a year ahead of me, and attends school at Emory and Henry. She loves it there and I love her so life is nice. Only problem is, I typically only see her around Christmas and in the Summer. Well, I was given the assignment in Theatre of going and watching a play- go figure. This assignment wasn't a big deal for me--- in my heart I am a theatre major, and I love to watch them as much as I love to be in them. This assignment gave me a reason to go to Emory today- you see, Emily is a full hearted Theatre major, and she is wonderful at it. This weekend she starred in The Maids. It was a crazy psycological play- and she was great. But thats not the best part. She didn't know I was coming. So when she was doing the whole meet and greet thing, and I ran up to her and latched myself to her the first thing she did was freak out, because someone was latched to her. The second thing she did was say "OMG SIERRA, I can't believe your here! I think I'm going to cry!!" Meanwhile, joyous tears have started falling from her eyes, and seeing her cry has caused me to cry--- and all her friend are freaking out, because Emily just doesn't cry. It was wonderful, and I love to make my Emily happy.
So yeah. Thats what happened today--- in the past four days I've also volunteered at my high school, went to the Storytelling Festival where I heard the infamous Donald Davis, went to work twice, and went "looking" (not to be confused with shopping) in Asheville.
